Job Duties
Perform precise MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals according to blueprints and specifications.
Measure and cut materials to specifications
Inspect welded joints for quality and adherence to safety standards using visual and measurement tools.
Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety protocols and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
2-5 years Precision Welder/ Fitter experience
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
Ability to pass a simple weld test (lay a bead)
Fit-Up experience
Experience with MIG and TIG welding
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Must have own Welder Hood
Must have own welding tools and equipment
Preferred Skills & Experience
Proficient in English
Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred
Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) a plus
